PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion of a bearing due to gas by holding a rotary support means on a support journal with a blocking sleeve collar. SOLUTION: An assembly comprises a journal member 1, and bearings 4, 5 enveloped by a rotary hollow shaft 2 which is rotatably fixed to a base 13 of a pump body, and has a rotor 3 fixed thereto and a cylindrical inner cavity 14. The bearings 4, 5 are supported on the respective sides of sleeve collars 6, 7 and in desired positions on a support journal on the side of a sleeve 8. The sleeve 8 is used for making the journal member 1 strong and rigid, and shaft limiting rings 9, 0 in the annular grooves 11, 12 prevent the hollow shaft 2 from slipping off from the journal member 1. In this arrangement, the assembly is accomodated in a rotor shaft, so that the assembly is separated from a pump zone where exhaust gas flows to be protected from gas erosion. |
