摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the hydrostatic pressure thrust load of one side of a bearing by providing means for distributing air blown off from a compressor to the compressor side of a thrust bearing, and an orifice means for distributing air blown off to a thrust disc. SOLUTION: Air from a compressor is blown off from the tip 34 of a compressor impeller 2 through a gap between a compressing and diffusing plate 35 and the edge part 47 of a thrust plate 42 and an orifice 41 to a feeder hole 43. The feeder hole 43 supplies the air to a pattern channel 45 of the thrust plate 42. The air collides with the compressor side surface of the thrust disc 37 of a bearing rotor 36 to press the rotor 36 in the opposite direction. Then, the air flows in the periphery of the disc 37 and in the periphery of the turbine side of the thrust bearing to flow out through a bearing area. The disc 37 is moved toward the turbine by an air flow passing through a spring foil member 49 and a fluid foil member 48 to increase the hydrostatic pressure of the compressor side of the disc 37.
