PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a mirror disk. SOLUTION: The same program data MPEG-coded and recorded in hard disk drives(HDD) 15A, 15B. On the occurrence of an abnormality in, e.g. the HDD 15A in the HDDs 15A, 15B, a controller 23 controls a reproduction control section 21A to stop read processing of data from the HDD 15A. Furthermore, the controller 23 controls a formatter 22B so that a terminal equipment having received data from the HDD 15A receives data read from the HDD 15B. In the formatter 22B a program map table(PMT) is changed according to the control of the controller 23. |
