An excellent communication system has a short synchronizing time and is free from the drop of an execution communication speed even at the time of data packet communication. The communication apparatus comprises a SAW matched filter in a correlation section. Alternatively, the communication apparatus comprises a matched filter of a fixed code in a synchronizing signal detection section and a matched filter of a variable code type in a signal detection section.
