Catalysed coupling of aryl magnesium halogenides and bromaryl carboxylic acid compounds for preparing biphenyl carboxylic acids

A process is disclosed for preparing biphenyl carboxylic acids by catalysed reaction of an aryl-Grignard compound with a bromaryl carboxylic acid compound.
