The central part accommodates and in a controllable manner releases the freezing medium. The proximal outer end has a predetermined shape for bringing it into contact in a simple manner with a body part. The freezing medium is releasable via the proximal outer end. The device contains a preselected foam with a mainly open cell structure. The foam has a density of preferably 58-60 kg/m3, and an impression force preferably of 4.5-6.5 kPa. It has an elasticity on rupture of preferably >200%, and a tractive force preferably of >150 kPa.
