PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an error in transfer work or data input work to a computer by updating the maintenance history information of a maintenance information data base based on maintenance work information recorded in an information exchange medium and issuing the bill of maintenance costs to a client based on the updated maintenance history information. SOLUTION: An IC card 6 storing the maintenance work information is loaded to an IC card device 34 connected to a maintenance information managing device 30, the maintenance work information is transferred to a fixed disk device 32 and registered in a maintenance information data base 1, and the maintenance history information is updated. Next, based on the maintenance work information registered in the maintenance history information inside the maintenance information data base 1, the amount claimed is calculated by retrieving a technical charge table corresponding to working time and a parts price table corresponding to exchanged parts, the destination to demand the maintenance costs and the machine type, model and manufacture number of an object product are printed out by using a printer 33 while retrieving client information and product information, a bill 9 is issued and the payment of maintenance costs is demanded to the client. |
