In order to set up telecommunication connections more quickly between a DECT fixed part and a DECT mobile part (portable part) of a DECT system, if no items of "blind slot" information relating to the telecommunication connections to be set up are present, and to increase the probability that a connection setup takes place given these conditions, the DECT radio channels used in failed attempts at setting up the telecommunication connections are marked, at least temporarily, as unusable radio channels for further connection setup attempts. |
