PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller which can form plural lines and enables fast data transmission. SOLUTION: A transmission system circuit 1 modulates an inputted transmitting signal in a prescribed format, light source 2 is lit up and driven according to the modulation and emits modulation light L toward a receiving system. For the light source 2, its wavelength is >=1.4μm, the wavelength of light- emitting diode is >=1.4μm and <=1.5μm, or semiconductor laser is acceptable. A receiving system makes the light L pass through an optical filter 3 which permeates light of a band whose wavelength is >=1.4μm, a condensing lens 4 converges the light L onto a phtodetector 5 and the photodetector 5 converts the light L into an electric signal. A receiving system circuit 6 demodulates the electric signal according to a prescribed format. This remote controller uses FDM and CDM systems for modulation and demodulation, and obtains plural lines. |
