PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly take out a disease name without damaging a function such as the standard disease name collection, the ICD (international classification of disease) or the like in the disease name database for retrieving disease name data, at the time of practical diagnosis and treatment. SOLUTION: In a simple disease name DB 5, simple disease name data which is generally used in each medical institution is stored. In a standard disease name DB 6, all the disease name data in the ICD 10 and the standard disease name collection is stored. At the time of retrieval, retrieval to the simple DB 5 is first performed, and if data fitting in with a condition exists, the data is sent to a client 2, for example. If there is no desired data in the DB 5, retrieval to the standard DB 6 is next performed, and the retrieval result is sent to the client 2. Switching of the retrieving object is manually performed by the client 2 or automatically performed upon previously setting the condition. Since the simple DB 5 in which data is restricted is first retrieved, disease name data is promptly obtained. |
