PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the coating for a display device, which forms a reflection preventive layer composed of multiple layers over the glass display panel of a video display device with its costs lowered, and its processes made simple. SOLUTION: A coating for a display device is a multiple coatings covering the outer surface of a video display panel by means of spin coating. The multiple coating 44 includes a first inner layer 44a, a second reflection preventive layer 44b, and a third anti-reflection layer 44c. The first inner layer 44a is disposed over the outer surface of the display panel 40 so as to be a base layer for conductivity, and its photorefractive index of is n1 . The second anti-reflection layer 44b is disposed over the first inner layer 44a, and its photorefractive index n2 is larger than n1 . The third anti-reflection layer 44c is disposed over the second anti-reflection layer 44b, and its photorefractive index n3 is roughly identical to the square root of n2 . |
