PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate correlation between pieces of information which are handled with both electronic media and paper media by performing mutual or one-way conversion between representation using the electronic media of information and representation using paper media, relating both the pieces of information of the electronic media and paper media with each other, and reflecting variations of the information mutually or on one media. SOLUTION: A scanner 206 reads in information represented by the paper media as electronic image information and a network interface 207 connects this device to a network. Then it is checked whether or not the information is read in a RAM 203 from the scanner 206. Then the image information read in the RAM 203 is matched against image information held in an electronic information holding means 101. Then the information matching the read image information the most is identified and it is decided whether the information exceeds a threshold set by a program. |
