PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful electrode as the negative electrode of a Ni-MH storage battery in which a high absorption/desorption efficiency is maintained over all life Period. SOLUTION: An electrode contains a paste-supporting current collector substantially composed of electrochemical material, conductive material, a binder, and a thickener. The binder is composed of a non-fluorinated cross-linking polymer which is made of first monomer comprising maleic anhydride, second monomer selected out of vinyl monomers, and a cross-linking agent, and the thickener is made of a cellulose compound. |
