The assembly, designed for positioning moulded teeth which go to make up a dental prosthesis, consists of a male component (6) with an upper tip (8) fitting into a section of a moulded plate and tooth, and engaging with a female component (7) which is embedded in a plaster base. The lower end (9) of the male component is in the form of two rods (10,12) or similar which engage with a matching cavity in the female component, the two components being made by injection moulding from a synthetic material, enabling them to clip together elastically by at least one projection (18) and a recess (15).
