The motor drive has a rack (14) fixed to the front of the lower traverse of the door to be driven. A motor group (16) is fixed to the ground at the end of the door bay to which the door slides. The motor group has an electric motor (20) with a vertical drive shaft (22) and a pinion (24) fixed to the shaft and eared with the rack to drive the bay when the motor is actuated. A circuit breaker (4) automatically stops the motor when the door engages an obstacle during its opening or closing movement. |
