PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always suck parts to a suction nozzle at an appropriate position, at the time of sucking the parts with the nozzle. SOLUTION: A mounting head 19 which is freely movable between a point above a tape feeder 16 and another point above a substrate 11 by means of an X-Y moving mechanism is provided. A suction nozzle 20 which sucks the upper surface of parts 12 at a prescribed parts supplying position A and holds the parts 12 by suction, so that the nozzle 20 can be moved in the vertical direction and a Z-axis servo motor 21 which freely moves the nozzle 20 in the vertical direction are attached to the head 19. The nozzle 20 is norally positioned to an upper reference position. In addition, a distance sensor 22 is also attached to the head 19 for detecting the distance M to the upper surface of the parts 12. A controller 15 controls the motor 21, by converting the distance M detected by means of the sensor 22 into the lowering amount L of the nozzle 20. |
