PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wait for a public base station and a master set by means of a single tuner in a slave set by detecting the period of public base station and setting period of a master set so as not overlap with this period. SOLUTION: The master set 1 receives the radio wave of the public base station for a prescribed period, 0.3, e.g. at prescribed time intervals, every 30sec, e.g. through and antenna 11 and a receiving circuit 10. A channel voice codec 7 detects a control channel period by a period detection circuit 8 from a super frame of the public base station and stores in RAM 16 with the identification code of the public base station and the electric field intensity of reception. A control circuit 14 selects four public base stations in the order of larger receiving electric field intensity and sets the control channel period of the maser set 1, so as not to overlap with their control channel period. As the master set 1 sends a control signal based on this setting, the slave set can wait for the public base station and the master set by means of one tuner. |
