PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warrant the resonance operation for a design frequency only in a high frequency oscillator. SOLUTION: A balanced frequency response circuit 9 includes circuit components formed in a semiconductor chip having 1st and 2nd on-chip contact terminals 12, 13 connecting respectively to 1st and 2nd off-chip contact terminals 14, 15 and also a balanced parallel resonator circuit 20 connecting to the contact terminals 12-15. The resonator circuit 20 includes capacitor parts C1', C2', C3' and inductor parts L1', L2'. The capacitor part C1' among the capacitor parts C1', C2', C3' is on-chip connected between the 1st and 2nd on-chip contact terminals, the other capacitor parts C2', C3' and the inductor parts L1', L2' are off-chip series connected between the 1st and 2nd off chip contact terminals 14, 15, then the contact terminals 12-15 are included in a single resonance loop so that a spurious resonance signal is substantially not generated.
