PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the characteristics of the main circuit of an inverter in which pressurized contact structure semiconductor devices are used. SOLUTION: A switching circuit 40 is composed of a 1st cooling unit 21, a sheet positive electrode conductor 41, a 1st semiconductor switch 22 consisting of a pressurized contact structure semiconductor device, a 2nd cooling unit 23, a 1st sheet output conductor 42, a 2nd semiconductor switch 24 consisting of a semiconductor device the same as that of the 1st semiconductor switch 22, a thin plate negative electrode conductor 43, a 2nd sheet output conductor 44 and a 3rd cooling unit 25 which are piled into layers in this order. The sheet positive electrode 41 and the sheet negative electrode 43 which are lead out of the switching circuit 40 are laid in parallel closely to each other. A plurality of capacitors 35 are held between the sheet positive electrode 41 and the sheet negative electrode 43 and connected to them. With this constitution, the switching loss of the switching circuit 40 can be reduced and a snubber circuit can be eliminated. |
