PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cyclic characteristic of a secondary battery without damaging any characteristic of a lithium secondary battery by having a compound whose oxidation potential is within a specified range included in a battery. SOLUTION: In a secondary battery consisting of a nonaqueous electrolytic fluid including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and lithium salt, a compound whose oxidation potential stays between more than plus 3.8V and less than plus 4.3V is included. This compound is displayed by a general formula R1-X-R2. In this formula, R1 is an allyl group or heterocyclic residue, R2 is alkyl group, alkenyl group, alknyl group, alalkyl, allyl group or heterocyclic residue, and X indicates an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom. Meanwhile when X is the oxygen, atom R1 is defined to be an allyl group replaced with an atom donor group. The quantity of this compound is preferably from 0.1 to 50 m Mol. By using this additive, such a secondary battery as of high capacity and low drop of discharging capacity on account of repetitive charging and discharging can be obtained. |
