PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-controlled radar apparatus which can be operated by a simple communication means and does not require a man to be permanent ly stationed at a radar station. SOLUTION: A radar station 10 and a monitoring 20 are connected with a telephone cable 24, the radar image obtained by a radar means comprising an overhead wire 12 of the radar station 10 and an instructing apparatus 14 is taken in a controlling part 16 and transmitted to the monitoring station 20 through a radar side modem part 18. In the monitoring station 20, the radar image is displayed on a display screen of the central control part 28. Moreover, a control signal to control the radar station 10 is transmitted from the central control part 28 to the radar station 10 through a control side modem part 26 and the telephone cable 24, so that the radar station 10 is controlled to carry out a prescribed operation. Consequently, it is unnecessary for the radar station 10 to station a man permanently for monitoring. |
