PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier which can maintain a higher purifying performance for a long time. SOLUTION: An ionizing part 4, an electrostatic filter 5 as dust collecting part, a photo catalytic filter 6 as photocatalytic part and a light source lamp 8 are arranged in that order along the direction of a ventilation flow 10. The photo catalytic filter 6 carries a photocatalyst to purify a pollutant such as odor component receiving the irradiation of ultraviolet rays. Air heightened in purify passing through the ionizing part 4 and the electrostatic filter 5 flows to the sides of the photocatalytic filter 6 and the light source lamp 8. This prevents the adhesion of dusts to the photocatalytic filter 6 and the light source lamp 8 thereby maintaining purifying performance for a long time. |
