MANUFACTURE OF COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a color filter which is clearly developed without the generation of development residues and creats an excellent fine pattern. SOLUTION: The manufacture of a color filter forming a multiple-color pattern is to repeat three steps: (I) the forming of a colored photosensitive resin layer on a board, (II) the exposing of the layer in patterned form, (III) developing with developer. In this method, the photosensitive resin layer contains an organic high molecular compound with acid number of 80-200, and the developer is aqueous solution which contains 4 sodium borate of 0.05-10wt.% and sodium oxalate of 0.05-0.3wt.% or potassium oxalate.
