PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive material for photographing which enables formation of an image with good discrimination in fast and simple processes and shows excellent storage property of an image. SOLUTION: This photosensitive material contains photosensitive silver halide, color developing agent, coupler and binder on a supporting body. After the photosensitive material is exposed for an image by using a treating material, the material as laminated with the treating material is heated while water is present between these by the amt. as 0.1 to 1 time of the amt. required to swell the whole coating films of the photosensitive material and the treating material to the max. Thus, an image is formed on the photosensitive material and subjected to heat developing processes and/or additional processes after heat development to produce a complex of the part or whole silver halide and/or developed silver remaining on the photosensitive material and/or to remove these. In this method, the photosensitive material contains planer particles having the average thickness aμm and bmol% silver chloride content in the silver halide satisfying the relation of a- log(b+1)}/9<=0.07.
