PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for guiding a person for properly guiding a person through plural branching points to a destination in a town, hospital, welfare facility, and station or the like. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a detecting means 12 arranged at a prescribed point including each branching point for detecting that a person to be guided arrives at the point, first storing means 2 for storing the arrangement of each branching point and a destination, second storing means 3 for storing both passing points to the destination and the sequence, third storing means 23 for successively storing the points when each detecting means 12 detects the person to be guided, and direction deciding means 5. The direction deciding means 5 finds the point from the second storing means 3 when each detecting means 12 detects the person to be guided, and decides a direction to which the person to be guided should go next based on the above mentioned information stored in the second string means 3. The decided direction is communicated through a communicating means 14.
