The device includes a mechanical lock (10) controlled by a key (12) and an immobilisation circuit which is remotely controlled. The remote control consists of a control signal transmitter (28) which is mounted in the head (24) of the key (12). The head of the key includes a push-button (34) for activating the signal transmission. The body of the lock (10) includes an active zone (40) which faces the head of the key, such that the active zones contacts and presses on the push-button when the key is inserted in the lock. The active zone may comprise a raised annular section, engaging the projecting push-button whilst the key is rotated in the lock body. |
