CHITOSAN DERIVATIVES, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND USES OF THE SAME
摘要
Chitosan derivatives obtained by partly deacetylating chitin followed by reduction. These derivatives are comparable in solubility in water to the partly deacetylated but unreduced chitosan derivatives and have scarcely any taste or smell. They are highly stable and scarcely colored even when preserved at elevated temperature. These chitosan derivatives are comparable in activity to the conventionally known chitosan. When combined with hardly digestible dextrin, these derivatives exhibit an excellent effect of promoting defection, which makes them useful as drugs and foods.
