A sport shoe has an upper, an insole (16) joined to the upper, an outer sole (1) secured to the insole (16) and cleats (2), studs (10), spikes or the like for engaging the ground. The cleats (2), studs (10), spikes or the like are secured to the bottom side of the sport shoe. The disclosed sport shoe is characterised in that the cleats (2), studs (10), spikes or the like are only anchored in the outer sole by anchoring means and in that a damping material (4) is provided between the outer sole (1) and/or the anchoring means on the one hand and the insole (16) on the other hand. This damping material protects the foot of the shoe wearer from shocks, in particular in the high stress zones of the sole of the sport shoe.
