CUTTING DEVICE

A cutting device which reduces wasteful cutting and which is capable of performing accurate and clean cutting and is long in the life of a cutter. The device comprises a guide support member (11) revolvingly mounted to an end of a work machine of a mobile work vehicle, guide means (12) horizontally supported on the guide support member, vertical moving means (25) having a cutter (60) mounted to the guide means and for vertically moving the cutter relative to the guide means, horizontal moving means (33) for horizontally moving the cutter along the guide means, and deflection preventing means. The cutter (60) vertically moves at the time of cutting, so that the cutter device is free of wasteful cutting to be efficient and deflection is reduced to extend the cutter device in life.
