The wall for a building consists of several layers assembled together. The first layer (1) is a structural brick or concrete layer. There is a second layer (2) in contact with or close to the first layer. It is made of comminuted cellulose raw material bound together with an adhesive material and acts as a thermal insulator. The fourth layer (4) is separated from the second layer by a set of vertical laths (3). The fourth layer is of identical construction to the second layer. The fifth layer (5) is made of thin impervious material. The sixth layer (6) is made of reinforcing material and is covered by the seventh layer (7) which is made of reinforced plaster.
