<p>The invention concerns a composition for dyeing keratin fibres, in particular human hair, containing in a medium suitable for dyeing: as coupler at least one compound of formula: (I) in which R1 represents in particular hydrogen, halogen; alcoxy, aryloxy; acyloxy; arylthio; alkylthio; one NRIIIRIV radical with R?III and RIV¿ representing, identical or different, one C¿1?-C4 alkyl....R2 represents hydrogen; alkyl; aryl; one heterocyclic compound with 5 or 6 chain links having at least one nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur atom; when R2 represents one alkyl radical, one aryl radical or one heterocyclic compound with 5 or 6 chain links, it can be linked with the nucleus carbon atom by means of one oxygen, nitrogen or sulphur atom (in this case, R2 becomes XR2 with X = O; NH, S); R2 can also represent a halogen atom; acyl; sulphonyl; sulphinyl; phosphonyl, carbamoyl; sulphamoyl; cyano; siloxy; amine; acylamine; acyloxy; carbamoyloxy; sulphonamide; imide; ureide: sulphamoylamine; alcoxy carbonylamine; aryloxycarbonylamine; alcoxycarbonyl; aryloxycarbonyl; carboxyl. and at least one oxidation base.
