An interior material for shock absorption of a vehicle headliner is provided to improve shock absorption by forming a shock absorption member in a stepped shape, so that shock is absorbed or dispersed by stages. An interior material for shock absorption of a vehicle headliner(10) comprises a fixing plate and a shock absorption member(110݆) projected from the fixing plate. The interior material for shock absorption is formed between a roof panel and the headliner. The fixing plate is attached to the roof panel or the headliner. The shock absorption member has a conical shape. A tip of the shock absorption member is horizontally cut to form an upper surface(114݆). The shock absorption member has a stepped shape and includes a plurality of layers.
