The switch device has at least three parallel, relatively spaced, contact plates (3a,4a,4b) which are elastically deformable upon applied pressure to bring them into contact with one another. The relatively spacing between the superimposed contact plates is provided by insulating spacers (5) inserted between them, with the spacers between successive contact plates lying in offset positions.
