Electronic timer, especially for differential pressure sensors

The circuit consists of a clock and a number of gates to measure the duration of the input pulse. The first gate switches at the start of the input signal and is latched until the end of the clock pulse when a first output signal is produced. The second gate switches on at the rising edge of the clock pulse and generates the second output signal. The second output is latched on the leading edge of the first signal and a third output is produced. A fourth output is produced at the falling edge of the second signal. The clock pulses are passed between the first and second output signals and are counted. A correction is made by half a counter value, on the basis of the third and fourth output signals.
