Force simulator for servo-control systems

The simulator has a cylinder filled with pressurised fluid and a sliding element inside to create flow movement coupled to a control organ. At least one flow channel is formed by two electrically insulated walls connected to the poles of a voltage source. A control unit is assigned to the simulator acting on the voltage according to the instantaneous system state. On one of the walls are a number of short hairs (5), threads, strips of foil, either alone or in the form of fur. They can be moved from their rest position, where they lie parallel to the flow direction, into a blocking position across the flow direction by the application of an electrostatic or electromagnetic field.
