The lock for a door (4) in a sliding dividing wall (2) has a safety unit (11,34d) for the situation where the lock (34a) is set to allow the door to swing, allowing it to support the door when closed against the dividing wall section (10). The safety mechanism has one part (11,11b) at the dividing wall section (10) and a further part (34d) at the door. When the door is closed the parts (11,11b,34,34d) may engage each other. The first and second safety elements may be linked to each other via an anti-friction connection. When in the closed position the two doors may overlap each other.
