The synchronisation device is used for synchronising ultra short electromagnetic pulses provided by a number of mode-locked laser systems, operated in the visible, UV , or IR spectral range, by combining the laser bundles provided by the laser resonators using one or more coupling elements (150), which provides a variable frequency shift of the laser pulses. The optical coupling element may be operated in conjunction with the dispersion groups (121-123) of the laser resonators and intersects each of the resonator axes (01,02,03) of the laser oscillators to be coupled.
