Hydraulic brake system for land-vehicle

A hydraulic brake system for a vehicle has a brake booster operated by the brake pedal, a front wheel brake which can be connected to, or disconnected from, the master cylinder (1) by an electronically controlled valve(5), a rear wheel brake with another valve (6) acting similarly plus a third valve (7) which comes after the second one, connected to the inlet of a pump (9). In one position of the third valve, the rear wheel brake can be connected with the front one or the master cylinder, and in the other position, that connection is severed and the pump outlet shunts the third valve to the rear wheel brake. The valves are all spring-loaded for their conducting positions and moved electromagnetically into their blocking positions.
