Vehicle steering linkage using tubular beams

The steering system is for a wheel on a road vehicle. It is integrated with the front wheel suspension which transmits forces from the wheel of the vehicle to the bodywork. The suspension and steering linkage includes a first or main tubular beam adjacent to a second or secondary tubular beam. There is a collector piece fastened to the wheel bearing and a pivot arrangement on the body of the vehicle. The two tubular beams are manufactured by pressure-forming using high internal pressure. The first beam may have a radial through-bore consisting of two aligned holes in the walls of the tube. The second tubular beam may pass through this bore.
