A resource admission control method is provided, including: when determining to release the network resource for the service requested by a user, releasing the network resource according to the session priorities of the present sessions in a low-to-high order, till the released network resource satisfying the request of the required service of the user. A resource admission control system is also provided, which includes a Service-based Policy Decision Function SPDF and a Access-Resource and Admission Control Function A-RACF. The provided resource admission control method and system can ensure to improve the using rate of the network resource in the precondition of the resource distribution for the high priority service. A service application system AF is also provided, which can provide the priority of a media stream in the session of the service required by the user to the RACS. |
