A gas permeable membrane (20) includes a plurality of conduit members (22) which are formed of a gas permeable material. Conduit members (22) are unitarily formed with one another and oriented to intersect one another and define a multi-dimensional array. Defined within each conduit member (22) is an interior passageway (30) and these passageways (30) intersect and are in communication with each other. Also described are methods of manufacturing membrane (20) and devices incorporating membrane (20).
