<p>The construction unit for a modular building consists of a floor caisson (1) which is open at the bottom and made from a frame of beams (2,3) and an upper horizontal panel (4), and angled corner uprights (19). The floor caisson beams and the upper panel are made from reinforced concrete, each beam being shorter than the corresponding side of the frame and made with an extension at each end in the form of a vertical metal plate (5) which is designed to be connected to one of the corner uprights. Each upright has a metal angled element (20) on its lower end for fastening to the beam end plates, especially by welding.</p> |
