<p>The speed reducer for fitting between driving (1) and driven (2) rotary members consists of a housing (4) surrounding the driving member and containing a rotary arm (5) which has one end (6) connected to the driving member and the other holding a double rotary pinion (9). The first toothed section (10) of the pinion meshes with a crown wheel (11) fixed relative to the housing, while its second part (12), of smaller diameter, is connected by a toothed belt (13) to a corresponding section of the driven member. The driven member is in the form of a tubular sleeve (2) surrounding the driving member, one end (15) having a toothed section (14) extending between the double pinion and the drive member. The end of the sleeve also has a centering and guiding shoulder (16) which interacts with a corresponding section (17) of the rotary arm. The double pinion, its pin (8) and the end of the arm are able to move inside a housing cavity (18) between two transverse walls (19,20). The number of teeth on the larger and smaller parts of the double pinion, the crown wheel and the toothed portion of the driven member are 27, 10, 100 and 37 respectively.</p> |
