<p>A decorative design is applied to the e.g. stainless steel support panel (3), e.g. by engraving or serigraphy. The adhesive (2), serigraphically deposited, or applied by brush or roller, is a resin type able to accept thermal expansion and contraction of, e.g., cooker or oven components. Preferably it is applied, wherever appropriate, on the reverse of the glass sheet, optionally on the face of the support also. The protective sheet is of ordinary glass, untoughened. All tempering, cutting, drilling or other treatment is effected only after bonding, on the composite panel. Optionally, decoration is applied also to the glass sheet, to produce, with the decorated metal, enhanced optical effects.</p> |
