<p>Hinging and extension mechanisms respectively lift the leading and trailing edges of the cover clear of the roof, and it can also be slid rearwards in retention to the latter. The hinging (16,35) and extension mechanisms are independent of each other, and the leading edge (21) of the cover can be swung out into the ventilating position. The cover (13) can slide on a frame (16) which is swung outwards at the front, and hinges at its rear end (38) on a fixed part of the roof. Holders (14) can be provided at each side of the cover and which have front portions sliding in the frame, the extension mechanism being formed in these portions.</p> |
