The storage rack includes a sheet of cardboard which is scored and cut in a press. A main score (1) is made along its entire length. A series of transverse cuts (2) are made across most of the width. Score marks (4) are made between the ends of alternate pairs of the transverse cuts. The ribs (6) between which the CDs are stored are formed by folding out sections as the two main surfaces (3,5) are folded to form an angle of 90 degree to each other.
