EXTRACT OF HUMATA TYERMANNI MOORE HAVING SKIN WHITENING AND ANTI-OXIDATIVE ACTIVATION

An extract of Humata Tyermanni Moore having a skin whitening effect is provided to produce a cosmetic composition for securing anti-oxidative activities and inhibiting melanogenesis in a melamine generation cell without cytotoxin. A cosmetic composition comprises Humata Tyermanni Moore extracts obtained by water, alcohol or a mixture thereof. The alcohol is a C1-C6 low alcohol. A method for preparing the Humata Tyermanni Moore extracts consists of the following steps of: dipping dried Humata Tyermanni Moore into water, alcohol or a mixture thereof to obtain an extract; cooling the obtained extract; filtering the cooled extract; evaporating the low alcohol from the filtered extract; and concentrating the extract.
