PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a weldline by forming manifolds communicating to a resin introducing port and branching right and left on an outer peripheral wall of a crosshead main body and inserting a static mixer into each of the manifolds. SOLUTION: A resin introducing port 3 is provided on an upper part of a side wall of the main body 1 of a side-fed circular die with the aid of an adaptor 2, and a crosshead main body 7 is fitted into an inner space of the main body 1. Slant type manifolds 8 which communicate to the resin introducing port 3 and branch right and left are provided at an upper part of an outer peripheral wall of the crosshead main body 7, and a cone-shaped static mixer 15 is inserted into the interior of each of the slant type manifolds 8. A molten resin introduced through the resin introducing port 3 is divided right and left by the slant type manifolds 8, is dispersed and homogenized by the static mixers 15 and is joined together at a terminal on an opposite side to be welded. Further, the molten resin is extruded through a lip 11. In such an arrangement that the molten resin is dispersed and homogenized and is joined together at the terminal, a weldline is very hardly formed. |
