An air conditioner according to the invention comprises the following components: a body which is formed with an air suction inlet and an air discharge outlet; blades which open and close at least one selected from the air suction inlet and air discharge outlet; a connecting rod which is connected with the blades; and a connecting rod rotating mechanism which rotates the connecting rod. Therefore the state of motor damage which is possibly generated in directly rotating blades by a driving source can be prevented. Besides, the rotation center of connecting rod is positioned at the inner side of body, the blades which are connected with the connecting rod open and close along with the rotation of connecting rod, therefore the air conditioner of the invention has an advantage that the blades operate more stably. |
