PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sudden departure at suspending travel departure, and prevent the occurrence of a cargo swing by setting a controller in a suspending cargo travel capacity mode when a suspending capacity changeover switch is operated so as to be turned on, and holding suspending travel of a crane work machine in a first speed travel condition. SOLUTION: When a suspending capacity changeover switch 29 is operated so as to be turned on, a suspending travel capacity signal is inputted to a controller 27, and the controller 27 is set in a suspending cargo travel capacity mode. Then, a solenoid 16 of a travel speed switching solenoid directional control valve 15 is excited, and the solenoid directional control valve 15 is switched to a low speed side first speed travel position from a high speed side second speed travel position E, and suspending travel of a crane work machine is held in a first speed travel condition. Therefore, a sudden departure at suspending travel departure time is prevented, and the occurrence of a cargo swing is prevented. When the suspending capacity changeover switch 29 and a travel speed changeover switch 28 are put in an OFF condition, since the solenoid directional control valve 15 is put in the second speed travel position E, a travel departure is performed at second speed.
